Apple has announced the release of the redesigned Apple Watch Series 6 that supports blood oxygen monitoring, as well as the next-generation iPad Air and iPad with significant performance and functionality upgrades.
At the same time, it introduced the brand new, affordable Apple Watch SE model with drop detection and advanced Retina display. All new products are expected soon in our country.
More specifically, the Apple Watch Series 6 is the company’s new “flagship” in smartwatches. It is not far from the Apple Watch Series 5 in terms of design, but it also has the ability to measure oxygen in the blood thanks to a new sensor. It also has a brighter always-on display and a real-time altimeter – and is generally faster.
In addition, the Apple Watch SE was announced, a more economical version of the Apple Watch 6, with a slower processor but at the same time many of the same sensors and features (without the ability to monitor oxygen in the blood and heart rate). The Apple Watch SE starts at $ 279, with the Apple Watch 6 starting at $ 399, and goes on sale Friday – with watchOS 7 coming Wednesday.
The new eighth generation iPad is the upgrade of the popular iPad. It has an “intelligent” A12 Bionic processor that provides 40% faster CPU performance compared to the previous generation and twice the graphics performance. In addition, it introduces Neural Engine technology in its class for the first time.
At the same time, it incorporates a Retina display, advanced cameras and a battery that lasts all day, so that the user can have it with him wherever he is. The new iPad will be immediately available (starting at $ 329) in three vibrant finishes: Space Gray, Silver and Gold, made from 100% recycled aluminum.
The latest generation iPad Air, designed from scratch, has a compact design made of 100% recycled aluminum, in five wonderful finishes: Silver, Space Gray, Rose Gold, Green and Sky Blue. It is the most powerful, smart and colorful iPad Air ever built.
It features an A14 Bionic processor with Neural Engine and a dazzling 10.9-inch Liquid Retina that covers the entire front of the device, offering an unparalleled viewing experience and a captivating visual effect. In addition, it offers significant upgrades to the camera and audio, as well as a new built-in Touch ID that has been placed on the top button of the device. The new iPad Air 4 will be available for $ 599.
There is also a new software update (iPadOS14), with better handwriting and shape recognition, better text selection and other enhancements. The software comes on Wednesday and the iPad goes on sale on Friday, while the iPad Air goes on sale next month.
Apple also introduced a new subscription service, Fitness Plus, at $ 9.99 a month, which streams workouts and exercises directly to Apple devices and displays data from the Apple Watch on a different screen. Its launch is expected before the end of the year.
The launch of the Apple One subscription package is expected soon, at $ 15 per month for individual program or $ 20 per month for family, including TV, music and games. Apple also offers a $ 30-a-month package that includes news, fitness service and extra storage.
It’s worth noting that rival Spotify (which has sued Apple for monopoly practices) has accused Apple of abusing its dominant position in favor of Apple Music, with Apple responding that it is targeting existing users of its services.
