Apple, Google and LG Electronics are actively entering the next 6G network, as they are now members of the Next G Alliance. With the new, big names being the newest members of the alliance, we are now talking about the greatest collaboration ever in the field of telecommunications.
The Next G Alliance aims to develop and provide the leading solution for the next generation 6G network. Although Apple, Google and LG are big names in their own right, remember that Microsoft, Samsung, Nokia, Qualcomm, Intel and Facebook are some of the companies that founded the alliance.
Also, along with the above companies, we have other new members in the alliance. Cisco, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Mavenir and VMWare are some of the big names that will strengthen the Next G Alliance for years to come. The cooperation of all companies takes place under the supervision of ATIS (Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions), an alliance for solutions in the telecommunications industry.
Remember that the first meeting of the Next G Alliance will take place on November 16. The founding members will appoint a management team as well, while working groups will be set up in early 2021. So we look forward to the developments and announcements of the 6G alliance in the coming weeks.
